| Bezel Set Engagement Rings | |
| A bezel setting is basically a collar of metal that surrounds a gemstone. The setting often gives the ring a fairly low profile meaning that the stone doesn't protrude very much. This type of setting would be especially suited for active gals who don't want to fuss and worry about their rings. The bezel also protects the stone much more that a traditional prong mount |

| Half Bezel Setting Engagement Ring | |
| Like its parent above, the half bezel setting is
based on an elevated collar however in this variation
the metal only partially surrounds the stone. This
leaves a portion of the diamond exposed and is not as
well suited for very active individuals who don't want
to think about the ring on their finger. Half bezels can
take on very different shapes and styles so the results
can make for very unique ring settings. |

| Channel Set Engagement Rings | |
| A channel setting protects diamonds from abrasions and offers a smoother look since they are inlaid. It is a row of diamonds with no metal separating them. A three-stone diamond ring is meant to symbolize your past, present, and future together. The trio can either be uniform in size or the center stone could be the showpiece. |

Pave Engagement Rings |
|
|
A pave engagement ring setting is where the ring's band
is literally paved with diamonds or other gemstones. The
paving is made of small stones that are set very close
together and near the surface of the band to give an
overall uniform feeling. Think of it as the diamond
version of the yellow brick road. Because the pave area
itself can take on any shape, it can make very unique
rings settings. |

| Tension Set Engagement Rings | |
|
A diamond ring tension setting is quite
contemporary and not traditional. It is
minimalist in terms of design since the diamond appears
to float within the band of the ring itself. The diamond
is on full display with nothing to distract from its
beauty. Keep in mind, that a tension setting is built
to fit and will be very difficult to resize later on.

Engagement Fact: At first blush, the tension setting looks way less secure then the other setting options. In reality, however, the stone is held more securely in a tension arrangement than in a classic prong style because the metal is generally stronger than that used for prongs, and more of the metal is in contact with the stone than through narrow prongs, therefore providing a tighter, stronger fit.
Showcased here are one example of what is available in each of these unique ring settings. Each of the different settings can have a completely different look than what you see here.
What we want you to understand from this page is the construction of how the stone is set rather than what the ring looks like.
