Since1910 is a family owned and operated jewelry business that first opened its doors to the public over 100 years ago.

The business began with a single store in New York which they maintain to this day, albeit at a different location. With over ten decades and five generations of experience in the jewelry business, the family decided to bring their knowledge, expertise, and passion for high-end engagement rings to the web, and created Since1910.com—great news for all of us who don't live near the store!

What we found most interesting about the site is that it offered two different ring builders—an engagement ring builder and an eternity ring builder—both designed to help you find your perfect ring.

For engagement rings, you start by choosing a diamond. Simply select any of the standard diamond shapes available on the site and filter the results by price and/or the 4Cs: Color, Clarity, Cut, Carat. You can then view the GIA certificate for any stone you choose so you can be sure of what you're getting.

Next, you move on to the setting. Finding just the right setting for your diamond is only a few clicks away.

First you decide on a ring style—modern, traditional or vintage—then you choose the type of setting (e.g. prong, solitaire, pave, etc...) and Voila! You'll actually see the price change as you select your eternity band characteristics and finger size, so you only pay for the exact number of stones required to build your exact ring. Pretty neat!
